Hi guys, I was wondering is the green light integrated on the pcb board for the climate control? or can we easily open up the case and change the bulb?

My guess is that part probably isn’t serviceable. The switch came with the ac kit . It is not available and the parts diagram doesn’t show a bulb for it .

Yeah I know what you mean.. Maybe I'll fine one at the junk yard and take it apart if its an individual part or what not.
Thanks for your insight.

The amber climate control illumination was only released with Integra Type R's. There were DIY's but since all Zeroforum sites were taken offline by Skunk, it's time for us to search and recreate the content here.

Searching, I found this reference to [url=https://www.team-integra.net/threads/di ... ay.171449/[Team-Integra.net.[/url] (I miss the old TI / pre-acqusition)

I already bought the bulbs for the climate control and we have pictures on my build 98 940 here on itrca. They actually work right. ;) . The ac switch was a no go on a replacement or bulb. They are in the last pic . I highly recommend everything else . viewtopic.php?f=9&t=225&start=500

Hi, yeah I've changed all those with new ones since one of them was burn't. The one I'm talking about is the AC button when you press it on the green light will turn on.

Very nice! love it!! yours is so much brighter than the "diy" on team-integra. For the hot/cold bulb did you leave it without the amber capsule?

I have done this task on a eg civic. I also have done this on the 99-00 civic. You open the climate control and need the Amber film along with the appropriate amber bulbs . I have never done it on a integra. You have to remove the blue film and replace it with the amber (jdm climate control film)

This is what you find in a 96-00 civic climate control and what makes it different than a em1 version which is amber lit . This applies to a 92-95 civic as well and I am sure will probably work on dc2. Image

After pulling off the knobs, you carefully remove the cover.

On the 99-00 civic this purple film is secured to the ex version. A clear amber tint on the em1/ jdm version. You need the correct film or you can fake the funk somehow.. the purpltint has to come off for a non purple cold setting. On the 92-95 it is the same open and move over the film and bulbs. I have never tried on the integra but it is the same .

On the 3 button civic its all on the backboard like you asked . The background lighting is separate.Image
