Tossing the thought of selling my R

Long time lurker here. Finally got around and made an account and thanks for the ad I’m tossing the thought of selling my car.
01 Integra type r
4th owner (had for 7 years)
Clean title, all VINs
Bits and pieces have been painted
High mileage at 240k
Mostly stock
Needs a restoration if you want to make it nice. Paint is oxidizing to hell. Has dents scratches dings all over it. The car has been a daily driver it’s entire life. No rust though Located in Washington I have it stored in my storage unit as I don’t drive it anymore.
I kno I need to take current pictures and uploaded them But for the meantime I’m trying to gauge a rough price estimate as I am not up to date on the market like the rest of you younger folk are and you don’t usually see them with high miles like this. It is original car and is complete with VINs, but it’s been loved and driven
Peace,
Sp0oky

I don't qualify as the younger folk here but I will try to contribute.
Pros:
-Matching VIN's
-Clean title
-No/limited rust
-Known mileage (albeit high)
Q: Known badge number + matching armrest badge?
Cons:
-High mileage could influence
-Oxidation could influence
*I assume your car is PY
-Paint defects, scratch(es) & dent(s)
I recommend:
-Cleaning underside + taking pictures to display lack of rust. Focus on rear subframe, rear wheel wells, unbody, etc.
-Detailing paint. It's possible the oxidation could be brought back to life depending on the paint depth. CW & PY are more susceptible to oxidation due to single stage but some can be brought back to life.
-Quality pictures only help the sell. You say you're in WA, beautiful landscape out there.
Prices are nuts/high these days IMO. I would guess your car could fetch $15k+ given the strong fundamentals. Investing in detailing the car and taking quality photos could aid in increasing the ask price. I'm also curious what the community feels on more pricing touch points.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, has original center console number plate, and it doesn’t have any rust, none at all. sometime in the near future I will take it in for a good detail as I kno of a place that does a good job. 15,000 would be nice hopefully others will chime in in the mean time thanks for the reply coolhandluke

"Younger folk" here. I'm not a current owner, but I have been shopping for a nice driver for some time now. I think we'd all need to see some pictures, as the price will heavily depend on how severe the dings/scratches/dents/oxidation is. Although some dents can be fixed, proper paint jobs can get very expensive. The car is also high miles and will likely need a refresh/rebuild of all the mechanical components if they haven't already been addressed. As I'm going through a full rebuild on my other project car, I can attest to this being an expensive proposition as well. All in all, these cars are in high demand in today's market, but as a buyer, I can't see myself spending more than $12,000 for the car you have described.
I don't mean any disrespect, just sharing my opinion, as I know how quickly an older car can become a money-pit restoration. Looking forward to pics of your car!

It might get $15k, but depends on how bad the paint and bodywork are.
