looking for feed back on products used.
Long story short. Old school Hytech Header (HiTech) the piping is ss but the flange that connects to the head is non SS.
Seems like POR 15, Eastwood and a few others sell paint that can be sprayed on rolled on and is suppose to resist high temps.
anyone had any good experiences with the first two?

Is this for HPDE, racing, or street-only? What are the goals, reduce engine bay temps or protect from rust?

Have you considered using Cerakote? It's amazing stuff here's a video that shows it's ability to withstand Heat.

I went to their website and looked around. Seems that it applied specifically by spray gun as a "kit" for the DIYer. If that's the case I simply don't have access to those tools.
I looked at the Eastwood product that you can brush on in a can. I watched a video where the person used a foam brush to apply it and it turned out good. I can't say how well it will hold up though.
This will be an over the winter project since I will need to wrestle with the header to get it off the car to be painted.
