Looking for an OEM CD player.

Let me know if you have one, and how much you are looking to get for it.

Thanks!

I take it you are looking for an orange backlit ITR radio? I think I have a few non ITR ones of the same style, just off non ITRs and acura CLs

1998 Acura el (civic) is the same radio to help expand your search. There’s one on eBay but it’s for 99-00. Some buttons are different and I can’t be sure it 99-00 civic radios have the same plug, but it should be amber. I’d ask the seller. Here’s a pic of the 1998 m.y. Radio for reference.Image

Do you have the link? Later us models on the Honda line switched to the blue plug on the radio. Pretty easy to build an adapter harness like aftermarket radio plugs .

There’s no picture of the plug unfortunately. I wish I could remember what the harness looked on my Em1. 2001 is usually the cut off for the newer generation stuff but integra always seemed a bit behind.

Here is an Acura EL (97 or 98) for sale local to me in Victoria BC Canada. It was manufactured Aug 1997. Pics of the plug can be seen.

From what I have heard it is amber and plug and play. The only thing needed would be the code. My local Acura dealership can likely look it up with just the serial number.

You can also get your code here:

The Acura EL radio is a good upgrade too, especially if the blitz aux is used with the HU or if you use CDs, since it allows the antenna to go down when the radio isn't used.

I have a couple used Acura El cd players. Both have codes, both have the back light on the track buttons burnt out. Not sure about cd operation.

So is it true that these 1997 EL radio's are plug and play with amber lights back lights?
