Try this ground strap rejuvenation
What’s required?
White Vinegar
Salt
Water
Baking Soda
2 Containers to soak and rinse with
What’s the steps?
1. Start with the first empty container and fill it high enough with white vinegar that you can submerge the grounding strap. Add 2 tablespoons of salt and mix the two ingredients together to get the salt to dissolve as best as possible.
2. Place the grounding strap completely submerged into the solution.
3. Allow 10 minutes for the strap to soak. You will notice most of the corrosion will be removed in the first couple of minutes.
4. While step 3 is happening get a second container and fill with water high enough in the container to submerge the grounding strap. Add 2 tablespoons of baking soda and mix together.
5. Once step 3 is complete remove the grounding strap from the vinegar/salt solution and place the strap into the water/baking soda solution. Allow it to soak for 10-20 seconds to neutralize and then remove and dry.
Enjoy!!
