I’m pretty sure something is funky here, listing asks $10k promising a motor out an ITR with only 22k on it.

Looking at grease on the top of the trans I’m guessing there’s a lot more than 22k miles of goo.

Still so weird.

I would trust your gut. I would question that price and those miles, and it would be difficult for the buyer or seller to prove otherwise.

Considering dc231 had a dot block that people had a disagreement on price I feel dude’s 10 k price is pretty laughable. His part but I am not buying the 22k either.

That engine does have true mileage if it's who I think it is.. it was the rolled 98 R that sold on eBay a few years back with 22k on the clock.

I sold that DOT short block with unknown mileage for 2300 plus tax.

It's Def not the same person I know with the low mileage swap.. I can also tell that that transmission has been opened up at some point 100 percent sure.

I recommend any buyer considering the purchase to do their homework, ask questions, similar to any large purchase. I feel its safe to assume the seller should not be defensive and willing to walk a prospective buyer through answers, providing proof, given the stated low mileage.

I tend to give everyone the benefit of the doubt but I also recommend always doing one's homework.

Type R B18C's, USDM and JDM, are going to go up in value. Seems like the quantity available is getting low.
