I will clarify my statement. A community member started a badge database in the 2000's since Honda did not track badge numbers and with theft, many community members were trying to find their original badge numbers. The bulk of this work is credited to Joe, Jay, and Matt, and now anyone can contribute via this link. Given the high theft we as a community have endured, this database has been kept under strict security. Note, badge numbers are not tied to VIN's, so this was an especially critical to track early and even now, we do not have a 100% knowledge set of issued badges (DC2, FK8, etc.)

I don't feel we are being hush hush on stolen parts, we as a community are typically the opposite, but in this case the poster deleted the original post.

Where's the link or photo of the original post? I cannot check the status on anything when it's missing.

If these were the parts from seller located in VA, then those were off a wrecked 97R over a decade ago.

...

Regarding the database, it's the ITRCA database, which is combined with old registries from itrca.com, Joe's data, and Matt's data via integratype.org. Currently, only Joe and I have access to that. Also, it's a free service to the ITR community, just like this website. It's an immense collection that has helped many people figure out their badge number or possible a previous owner to contact about history. ...all for free and led by volunteers. Let's keep that in perspective. :D
