Am I the only one who waits and waits for a Type R to show up at copart/iaai???
She’s beat up and bruised but fixable…
Notice the strut bar folded

Wow the bid at 10k, and supposedly 271k miles.

Last reported mileage was 120k in 3/2017. Probably new cluster or someone drove 140k miles in 4 years.

That Copart location isn't far from me.
Not too surprised on the price do far. The swaps ate going up in value. I wonder what a USDM B18C5 is going for these days.
Definitely worth a decent amount in parts. Don't think it's worth saving.

I agree I don’t think it’s worth saving from a Financial standpoint but if you know what you’re doing it’s a good project. Strut towers definitely moved and hopefully the motor and trans didn’t take to much damage and had a mount rip out but they look ok.

Did this vehicle have a "Salvage Title", before the crash that sent it to Coport?
Why would the top of the Coport listing show MD Salvage, if it might end up in a crusher, which it won't of course?

I’ve seen the swaps on eBay for $7500 plus but who knows if they are actually selling?
The other thing you need to be cautious about is that there is no guarantee the swap in there is the correct one. Could be an LS-VTEC with an ls trans who knows. That would ruin someone’s day.

It was actually salvage back in 2003. I’m sure it’s going back on the road one way or another.
