Type R Club of America

After over a year of delays and almost being cancelled at the last minute, the Honda Homecoming finally happened!
1. My day started at 3AM to get ready to meet up with mikehonda, Jay (kepani) and his buddy Hiro.



2. Although we live just a stone throw away from Honda HQ, where the event was taking place, we had to make a trek 55miles south in OC. Although only 9 ITRs were in attendance, there were hundreds of S2K, CTR & NSXs






3. The tiny caravan of ITRs Mikehonda was my 234 chauffeur for the day




4. Parade of sponsor/vendor cars to kick off the event


















5. Organizer and presenters. HondaProJason was the MC




6. NINE strong ITRs. For once the PY was outnumbered

Good seeing you and Mike and meeting Jay. Missed meeting Alan (black 94-97 front end). Wanted to thank him in person for giving me an Integra wiper control stalk months ago.

And thanks Yoshi for giving me the ticket you won in the raffle that was signed by Shigeru Uehara.

Look at all those NSXs and S2000s! I expected to see more ITRs. Maybe now people are hesitant to drive theirs in hopes they have the next $80k ITR!! Lol

I would go to another Honda Homecoming just to tour the facilities, which was scheduled but cancelled I think due to local COVID restrictions.

Thank you for posting and sharing photos! What an event. We look forward to incorporating more experiences like this for the none-tracking folks in the community at the next Type R Expo. Honda Homecoming throws a great event and we're glad to see the community supporting.
