1/12/23. Project is basically scraped.. Some lessons learned on creating this mold means I'd have to create another one. Gathering information from more knowledgeable sources before I try again. Seems like it needs to be created on the bumper first. Issue I had was fitment around the bumper, and within the grill area. Trash.. Once I switch to the Exceed Front lip I may give it another go just to reach this goal.

I've had the mold to this lip for years now.. finally making time to try and remake it. New resin, fiberglass and experience. I've been keeping in touch with casale designs to help tutor me along the way to hopefully bring Integra owners this lip again at a very fair price...

The mould is from my own OEM itr lip, I wish it was better but lack of knowledge then. Luckily its still very workable. I'm going to seal each lip to a oem bumper for nice fitment. This is my 3rd attempt and the next one should be final go. I'm going to seal this one for practice and get back with you guys on fitment. It will also be paint matched to my own itr so you guys can compare. Image

Great work. I always thought we need someone or a company to remake some of these discontinued parts. Look forward to more pictures.

While I personally don't like the looks and wouldn't run them on my car, I'm sure the optional side skirts would be a hit! I've always wanted to make a mold and this thread has inspired. Have you made many molds before?

Thank you! I'm trying..as honestly I need a second income baad. FIgured if your going to have a second job, try and make it your own before doing pizza delivery or something..

If I could get my hands on a oem 97 itr lip I would.. Luckily mode parfume makes something you guys can use >> https://www.icbmotorsport.com/exmopaaefrli1.html

I'd be down to make those skirts too! but again, need the real ones to copy. Mode parfume actually has there own skirts coming out also. I know the basics of making molds to work out a decent quality part.. that's where I'm at right now. My full time job is paint and body. So that helps on the prepping and final product. Right now I'm just hoping this part turns out, so far I think it might ha. I'll get it! I'll get pic tomorrow after work. early bed time!

Not my car in the pics.

I do have a spare comptech replica if someone is interested in using that as a base. Not sure if that’s still available, legality, or if there’s a way improve with OEM style mounting. I would love to see a true mountable OEM style lip for the 97.

I do have an OEM lip on, though the BNIB one I bought was traded to an original 97 restore project as I was going to have painted anyway a few scrapes on the underside were easy to repair. It would have been a shame to such a unicorn piece, and a fair deal was made to preserve it.
