Did you have to remove your crackpipe from your antenna?

If you had a jdm antenna you have the wrong mast.

I have some updates to this. I finally received the jdm mast from amayama. Over night parts from Japan are apparently made in China now. The part number applies to jdm nsx and jdm itr. The part number is thicker at the base and longer than the us mast. It also included the crack pipe which was permanently attached to the piece. The crack pipe will not fit in the mast ,

Notice the base is thicker and also that the us version may work without the black sleeve.

With the jdm part number I had to remove the crack pipe but it was bonded. I had to totally destroy the metal and plastic. I reused the original plastic bushing from the original.

The jdm part number appears to have a slightly different thread pitch and uses a different part number. Curious to see what an original car has.
The o ring is completely different on the two as well.

The antenna now operates flawlessly. No machine gun funk . Silence on opening and closing.
