I'm at that point where I need to do timing belt service on my b20. I was looking around and saw that koyo makes a tensioner for the b series vehicles. Does anyone have experience with these?

I trust Chase in this area, he consistently maintains many cars in the Dallas area.

As Honda now has a multi-year effort to increase dealer prices daily (previously monthly), leading to ~XX-XXX price increases on items, we have to be smarter in where we buy parts. Going straight to the MFG is a great idea.

Thanks, yall. I appreciate the feedback.

In other news, I feel folks are trading in non-R cores when they buy reman'd rear brake calipers. Rear left fit well. Rear right looks like a non-R. The brake pads fit, but brake line angle was 90 degrees or so off... I kinda works bcoz aftermarket flex lines, but I am likely going to swap this one out for the real deal after the vendor fesses up.

Honda previously raised prices monthly. The last few years they issue daily price updates. This is why the DBW sensor for my old '06 TSX was ~$160 in the DIY thread from ~2017, $195, on Amazon (OEM Acura), and $300 via Honda dealer.
