Hello All,

been lurking for quite some time. Recently picked up a 98 itr shell. Sadly the number is unknown. Its been a california car its entire life and was salvaged in 2015 from theft. My friend had it with a supercharged k20 in it, and I ended up working a deal. I sold my ek spoon cluster and my ek shell and ended up paying for a itr shell. I switched over all my 5 lug suspension (all reworked/refreshed 36mm.) I then installed my k20z3 swap (no pictures yet) and am able to keep AC. I have a couple goodies left to install but here are some basic specs:

98 ITR
06 k20z3 swap
k20z3 has k20a2 oil pump, tractuf baffles, and pan
k20z3 trans, stock
AEM v2 ECU
Koni/GC Setup
All PCI/Kiwi bushing setup: front lca, upper arms, rear lowers, rear camber, rear toe
Full hytech exhaust

Left to install: spoon steering wheel, spoon seats, willians harnesses

Left to do: Sunday, Dec 3rd im going to Chewerks to get an alignment/corner balance
Left to do: Tune?!?

Some quick photos I have. Its been sitting in my garage dirty, will get a full photo shoot once its driving and clean.

Little clearance issue. Ended up drilling out the upper tie bar so it will sit back a 1/4" (needs to be installed, this is before pic)

Amazing welds:

Right before its maiden voyage to get petrol. rear alignment is way off and was rubbing real bad.

Thats it for now. Ill try and keep it updated with photos of engine bay soon. (nothing fancy in there)

Car looks great. Congrats on the purchase and new project. It's coming together nicely. A salvage ITR is the perfect candidate for a K swap. Nice that you bought it swap-ready. Looking forward to more pics and progress

Thanks guys. Working on getting my radiator setup going. Dont get much done during the week but ill post some updates this weekend.

Who do I give the vin to? coolhandluke?

Also, AAA just mailed me and told me they will not insure this car. Kind of odd considering they insured my 2k civic (also salvage) but also I have a few cars on there so not sure why/what is special about this car. going to have to find different insurance.

Had alignment done Dec 3rd at Chewerks. I really like how my hytech exhaust looks, to bad it will never be seen. The only thing I dont have is a front camber kit which I need (the reason the front camber is off a bit.) Car drives good, just waiting on an appointment to get a dynotune. The k20z3 basemap im running runs rather poorly. Hope to have a bunch of updates at the end of the month.
