Announcement on t-i: https://www.team-integra.net/threads/me ... 2030091741
Stephen Gilboy / MorningZ passed away yesterday. Founder of team-integra.net and an amazing friend to the entire Integra community.
Steve became a lifelong friend in the first year of t-i. For those who might not remember, Steve and a few others (SurferX for example) created t-i as a counter to what SHO and others had become. It was in the same era as honda-tech forming in response to honda-acura.net and so on. ITRCA was also in its infancy.
I joined Steve's site near the beginning, and it was my introduction to the Integra community. His approach was very different at the time with a focus on community and helping others. If it was not for him, I don't know that I would have explored the community more. I credit him with my growth and own role in the Integra world, ITRCA, ITR Expo, etc. I learned a lot from him and am forever grateful. Steve was both personable and talented. He basically re-wrote the code structure for the snitz forum software at the time as well as created t-i entire structure including the articles, etc. It was a mammoth site that helped countless owners.
Below is a photo of the first t-i mod / admin gathering in Vegas from 2005.
Myself and many others will miss him.
