I've spoken to the owner the last time it was listed. Nice guy seems like he took real good care of the car. His reserve was around 18k if I remember correctly.

He's ordered a Dodge demon as a replacement.

AFAIK a USDM ITR with similar mileage/condition and rebuilt engine would go around 12-13k. But this is rhd and a gray market vehicle. So I would have thought this would go for less. But maybe the market is inflating again?

Prices are all over the board these days. The exterior and engine bay look good. The seats have serious fade though and the F7/Beaks bits are a turn off. Both are easy fixes. Registering the car would be an expensive hassle if needed.

Right but it's still a gray market vehicle and technically illegal.

Sold for $16k. I think that's a good deal I would of sold off some of the name brand parts and gotten back some money.
