Hi guys. Proud owner of 98-0940. I stalked a few members here and on Honda-tech so I know a few may know the car . Sorry about that! I purchased the car from James at ipg. I have located some old Honda-tech threads with some history on the car. She has a quite a few owners but it stops with me (until I am dead ) All the pics are dead except one of the owners actually worked... The smile on my face was ear to ear when I found those. Just wondering if anyone has any history , pics , or any knowledge of the car at all. One detail I can't find any info is where the original transmission went . I did locate a for trade ad from asahi with original transmission up for trade. The next for sale ads no one mentions the transmission being swapped out on the car. I know chances are slim but I would love to reunite it with the car. James informed me it was not in the car when he got it. Interested in old pics, details or any insight. Thanks for your help!

This came up for sale after purchasing my own. I wish I had held out for this one. Seemed like the perfect driving/ tracking ITR to start with. Congrats to you!

Yep, we definitely have some history on that car. At one point, it was owned by Trey (username Asahi), who helped start this entire thing known as ITRCA as well as honda-tech and so on.

She met all my needs and expectations. I was willing to get yellow or black but champ white has always been my favorite. She didn't come with out her quirks that bugged me hey that is why we are in this hobby in the first place right? She was set up for track use . I have returned her to near stock . Street driving is what I bought her for. I was hit by a drunk driver years ago and due to back injuries a road course isn't in my best interest anymore.

She was loaded at like 4pm destination 3000 plus miles away and should have been delivered to my brothers shop Monday... Sunday my brother receives a call at 2 or 3pm . Car is 4 hours away. Shop is CLOSED on Sundays . Trucker says okay I will come to you. Brings car elsewhere. Sketchy yes but I get my car. The truck above leaked some fluid on it but didn't do any damage. The car however was covered in diesel exhaust splatter from the transport. It took a lot of work but it cleaned off later. Here is the arrival and my niece. Car had no cat or charcoal canister installed. My niece said "stinky" LOL ImageImage
