Sure, there's other cars for 40k, but a buyer looking at that car is wanting something specific. Hence why it's a 21 year old car that had an original MSRP of 23.5k and made 16 grand when sold.

Be interesting to see a 40k car today in21 years sell for 16 grand over original MSRP.

With auction fee she comes in just under $43k

Right were i think a almost 60k mile ITR would land.

If she was sub 40k miles it would have been closer to $50k sale in my eyes. Thats the perfect amount for this car. Enough that it was used and has seen the road, but not too much where the "original" value gets hurt.
