For those doing restoration projects that are trying to return ITRs to OEM the Purge control Solenoid can be an issue.

I don't believe JDM models had this part so locating alternatives can be an issue. The best alternative I've found is the UKDM solenoid. This will keep a USDM ECU happy and still mounts neatly to an OEM location on the firewall (requires a different RHD specific bracket). I'll try to add a photo of it installed in my old b18c swapped LS.
I'm ordering some parts from a UK seller that has several up right now and I'm willing to proxy an order to limit shipping costs if there are a couple ITR owners in need. PM me in the next couple days if interested.

Here’s a shot of the solenoid and bracket. It installs the the left of the USDM mount, (always wondered what that plug was for right?).

Is that solenoid year specific?

Not that I’m aware of.
I’ve personally used with both a 97 (OBD2 GSR) ecu and my s300 (requires adjusting the setup a little). Evap solenoid setup is the same 97+ as far as I’ve seen.

What's the part number for the RHD specific bracket?

You should message touringteg, I think he needs something like this.

My purge solenoid was tested and still working properly. I have been chasing a P1457 cel evap code.
I decided to go a different route by getting a 96 JDM ITR ECU 003 that doesn't look for the evap system. There are other solenoids at the rear of the car that are also discontinued so it made sense to me to just run an ecu that doesn't look for evap anymore.
I had to also order a Boomslang jumper harness OBD2B to OBD2A to work on my 2001 CDM/USDM car.
No CEL, drives strong and appears to be the same VTEC and rev limiter (5700, 8700 rpm).
Only downside is idle is now 1050 to 1100 warm. No amount of adjusting is bringing the idle down. I need to start a thread.

Year? No. ODBIIA/B? Yes.

Thanks for calling out I did a bit of digging and confirmed that this valve part numbers for 97-98 and 00-01 are different.
The valve listed is the OBD2b valve, part number ending A11. This is the part I ran in my B18c5 swapped LS with a 98 (obd2a) GSR ECU without any CELs or other issues (The ecu would read emissions ready). As well as with my OBD1 s300 ECU with some adjustments to vacuum lines to maintain the canister without starting issues. So I'm pretty sure this is backward compatible for any USDM ITR.
Additionally I just realized the UKDM valve, according to the Denso part numbers, is the Accord\TL 00-03 part so if you can get the UKDM mount you could order a new oem valve that should work or aftermarket for much cheaper.

Curious if anyone has tried the Denso 136200-1620 for 98-01 Accord / 99 -03 TL on their USDM or CDM ITR. Would like to have a spare.
