I need some lug nuts for some aftermarket wheels and I might be using extended wheel studs with spacers in the future due to wheel/tire fitment.

So, thinking open ended. What are people running on their ITRs? I'd prefer to buy from an Expo sponsor than Amazon.

I've got some mugen chrome/silver ones on my 5 lug gsr that were reasonable priced, about $60 or so.

Closed or open ended?

Open lug nuts expose the threads to dirt, water, debris. This can lead to stuck lugs and\or worse damage the studs. Risk is probably negligible but I'd recommend sticking to closed lugs if the car sees normal roads. or any sort of weather. This is why older Integras with the stubby open type lugs had wheels with large center covers that extended past the lugs

I use cheap 1320 performance lug nuts, probably not a sponsor but, they had a variety of color options (including grey which looked good with my bronze wheels), include security nuts and thin wall socket plus the security key. They've done the job well for me.

When I replaced my oem studs with ARP extended ones I figured out the length I actually needed and used a dremel to cut to my desired length. Then filed back the leading thread at an angle so I could start the lug nuts easily. I used a little bit of clear coat touch up paint just on the ends I had cut to help protect from moisture.

I've been looking at the floating type lug nuts since they're supposed to help prevent damage\stress where the lug nut contacts the wheel while being tightened but haven't pulled the trigger since I don't really want chrome.

Car isn't driven daily, maybe spirted drives on the weekend and HPDEs at tracks.

Sounds like the wheels could need spacers due to fitment of the 15x8s and 225/45 tires, so this is why I'm asking.

Project Kics R40 are nice. Have used them with ARP extended studs on my ITR for over 5 years.

They have an added benefit of having a built in washer at the ends, so they are less likely to remove paint off of the wheel in the lug nut area.

I recently upgraded after many years. I went with:
MUTEKI 32906B 12mm x 1.5mm SR48 Open End Lugs ~$55 per set of 20

Probably go with these. Don't wanna spend a lot, but wanted to see what fellow R owners are using and possibly buy from a sponsor!

Project Kics makes great lugs. A little on the pricy side but the quality is great. Ran them on my STI for 4 years.
