Brake lights/Horn in-op.

So I finally got my car up and running. I took it for a drive and I was told my brake lights are not coming on. However, my running lights come on as well as my turn signals. I have tried troubleshooting this myself but I just can’t figure it out. My car had a boatload of spliced to the chassis harness. Recently I moved around some wires and stepped away from the car for a second and I heard the horn go off. When I pressed the horn button it didn’t work. Since then it hasn’t happened again. If anyone has any input that can help please let me know.

Here’s what I’ve done:
Check #52 fuse in Hood Fuse box
-Fuse was good but I replaced it anyways as a precaution
Replace brake light switch
-I had a spare brake light switch laying around so I tried it and still nothing(could be faulty as I never seen it work. Will be getting a brand new one today)
Replace bulbs
Inspected Harness
- the switch did not have any splices or anything
- I have a 4-prong connector and there’s 5 wires at the switch, two white and green that splice and become one.
-I came across a relay at the left rear quarter panel area. The relay is located at the same place as the plugs for the interior trunk light and the antenna plug. I did notice a white and green cable that seemed to be the same gauge, but it had different markings on it.
Inspected taillights
- one of the taillight socket has some corrosion on the outside but my running lights work fine.

As for the Horn:
Replaced horn with a spare.
-horn still did not work.

This is the only thing keeping me from enjoying my car. I’ve driven it with my brother following me and turning on my hazards but I rather not risk it.

Thanks in advance!

Do you have the Helms to trace the circuit? Have you chased wires or checked with multimeter to see if you are getting power to the lights?

No and no. Since my DRL work fine I’m assuming that they’re getting power.

Other lights might work fine, they arent necessarily on the same circuit.

Found the issue! Wires were cut for some odd reason. Searching for the connector with pigtails for brake switch.
