SOLD - FS: #98-0408 CW TX
SOLD!
1998 Acura Integra Type-R #0408 (Confirmed by Jay, no arm oem badge, only blank)
162888miles on chassis
02 K20a2 110xxx miles
Salvage Title (theft recovery)
AC delete model
VIN: JH4DC2317WS002820
Title in hand
I've owned this car almost 2 years after buying it off a HT member, he's probably here as well. I have all the information the previous owner had about the car for more history on the car. (The ZIPFILE attached to the post) I bought as a project to restore but unfortunately I have to buy a daily (mine was just totalled) and don't really want to daily the ITR.
Anyway, I bought it and the motor developed motor issues (gsr swapped in at some point in its life)and I chose to have a k20a2 with a 6 speed swapped in.
The car is fair condition, some paint issues (discoloring) and chips from prior ownership. I don't drive it often but when I have it's been solid, have driven it on road trips (250 miles each way).
Things I would improve/issues
Redo the swap harness - the harness looks like its been used in another swap and some splices. A/C is being run via toggle switch
Radio/speakers have a static sounds after being on a rough road
Upgrade the radiator - oem ITR is works great. no temperature issues. I just don't like the way it looks in the car.
Windows rattle, needs to be greased?
Rekey the car to match all locks
I'd like to get $12,000 OBO for it. I'm open to reasonable offers.

Seems like a solid caR that is very reasonably priced considering what has been done to it. Jump in, drive it wherever your heart desires, track it or do whatever.

Seems like a cool project for someone. Wonder if Joe can figure out the badge number.

I'm also curious where the badge number reference stemmed from?
