Hey guys,

So, I have all new OEM components for my suspension other than the front compliance bushings and rear lower control arms.

Any thoughts/ideas on what brand or what to do? I am not tracking the car anymore so will either keep the OEM springs/shocks or perhaps go GC for a slightly more aggressive stance and handling. But I got all OEM components b/c I just want a refreshed, OEM rubber ride.

I do not want to go spherical bushings or have a harsh ride.

Are you asking about front compliance bushings and rear LCA's? Or about struts/springs/coilovers?

Hey Scott, the Rear LCA's are still available from Acura Express Parts / IRUNOEM (Expo Sponsor) but they are now discontinued. I can't speak for the front lower compliance, but ask for Cris.

Have driven cars with OEM, Mugen, Hard Race, etc....

OEM or Mugen is my preference unless it's an all out racecar.

I agree. I will add that OEM bushings will suffer from "drop" if parked for long periods, even after a few years.

I do not recommend Hard Race. Their quality is subpar (cliffs: Their bushings don't last) and the ride experience is less than OEM or Mugen.

How does Spoon compare? Too harsh for what you're after? They are also expensive but I'm looking at options now too.

Currently have Mugen Compliance bushings, I don't think I felt any differences.

I am curious about the Spoon trailing arm bushing, compared to the Mugen and OEM trailing arm bushing, it looks like they are a stiffer bushing with far less voids on them, but they look like rubber.

I have all Sp00n bush on 234. Changed it out couple years ago. It tightened up the car but new OEM probably would've felt the same since the rubber was 18 years old at that point.

I'll amend my previous post about OEM and Mugen and add Spoon to the good list. If it's a racecar, then spherical, such as Kingpin, would be considered.

Are you saying that new oem and spoon bushings are similar in feel?
