Has anyone experienced their original headliner peeling at the edges?

Post by aw614 » Fri Apr 10, 2020 7:26 am

I'll try to get pictures later today, but I've been noticing my headliner is starting to peel/crack from the section that is close to the front windshield. Looks like it's damage from the Florida heat/humidity.

I have a sunroof headliner, but I assume the ITR has that similar vinyl material-like all other integras and all are probably discontinued...

What kind of options are there for a stock like replacement? I actually like the stock material vs what is on newer cars that have the cloth that completely sags after 5-10 years whereas this type of material actually lasts 20 years without much problem.

In all of my Integras, five ITR's and two DC2's, I've never seen this issue. Outdoor storage, heat, humidity, and other factors, may all be at play though.
