Cliffs
We just built a house and the builder sealed the. Garage floors ( looks real purty!) I know the floor is going to get scratched up over time I’d just like to find some floor protection from my floor jack either a new jack that has rubber wheels, new casters that have rubber tires on them. I haven’t found any casters yet that have a weight rating I’d trust and the one jack I found that had rubber wheels I can’t find for sale.
Any ideas
Thanks
Floor jack wheel padding?
Re: Floor jack wheel padding?
What about something like quick jacks that you can just leave under the car instead of wheeling around a jack all over the floor? Just a thought

Re: Floor jack wheel padding?
I thought about them months ago but they are unfortunately out of my price range.
I'm thinking of trying if I can find heavy duty rubber bands for the front jack wheels and replacing the rear swivels wheels with non metal counter parts.

What is your floor covering or how was it applied? I would get scrap carpet or 1x1' pads.

I have always thought about machining delrin tires or wheel condoms if you prefer for my old Litening race jack. Of course, until I can actually get a damn car back into my garage/machine shop it is pretty pointless. But getting close to fitting a car now so I will follow up if I make the time and it actually works well.

I dig what 3D printing has opened up for those with skills like yourself. Test, try, iterate, and then make!KIngpinMachine wrote: ↑Thu Apr 23, 2020 11:28 pm I have always thought about machining delrin tires or wheel condoms if you prefer for my old Litening race jack.
