Integra R Exhaust - FS (soon)

Gents, just ordered a 2.5" aftermarket exhaust and will probably post up my oem one here in about a week or so. Just wondering if anyone is interested and what these normally go for. Thanks guys. Getting the car ready for Road Atlanta in May. :D

Re: 98 22k on BAT

I think the past several listings have all been BAT, so obviously more people will be flipping these cars and don't really care about the performance. I don't even watch the auctions though as I'm too busy just driving the nuts off of mine. If I ever sell mine it'll be private as I want to see it in...

Re: Suspension tuning - dampers, spring rates, etc.

Have a strange question, my only reasonable explanation for this is bushing wear and rear cargo load, but seeing if there are other opinions on this. I dialed out camber on one side (passenger side) about a year and a half ago via one washer on both bolts to make my car have -1/-1 in the rear. Abou...

Re: Doug Demuro reviews an ITR

Why are we comparing ITRs to S2Ks in the first place. The only similarity is they are made by Honda. Even comparing to DC5 ITR or FD2+ CTRs is a reach. Every car mentioned should be faster with modern technology, larger engines, more power, fat tires, huge brakes, etc. Doesnt change the fact that e...

Re: Doug Demuro reviews an ITR

It's pretty good. Fair play to him for looking for "quirks and features" as our cars are pretty basic. ;) He seemed to enjoy driving it anyway. Though he reckons the S2000 is better in every way. I'd not agree with him there. I've had an S2000 and it's a bloody great car, but I found it l...

Re: Brake Pads Discussion

I'm uncertain of the actual temp they get to, but rotors get hot quick regardless...especially since there's no factory ducting. It's a light car, but the front wheels are doing 80%+ of the work and to be fair the rotors/pads are not that big. Most H2/H1 cars run brake ducts even with a Wilwood Fast...

Re: Brake Pads Discussion

I run HP+ in the back and a DTC 60 front. With the DTC 60/70 or Carbotech xp10's you will have 0 fade and will feel consistent all day. Street pads like HP+ or EBC yellow in the front calipers will fall off and grease over (depending on how hard you're pushing).

Re: 1997 Gsr(and other cars) track/build log

Ever wonder why one of the Type R chassis modifications Honda did was to increase the rear wheelhouse thickness? This is a common problem to have on non-Type R DC2 chassis that see a lot of spirited track driving. The rear roof rail and pillar will also start to show signs of stress via cracks and ...

Re: 97-0202 Build

I knew I recognized this car. Didn't realize you tracked it in a specific series...what exactly is the name of it? It's something sponsored by ASR? Wish we had more of a track Honda scene here. Would really love the competition. You should definitely consider Super Lap Battle despite the drive. But...
