This trunk brace is pretty scratched up and even has some rust. I was thinking of painting it rather than powdercoating, not sure of getting it powdercoated would take off any corrosion protection from the inside of the bar.
Does anyone know what paint color matches the factory color? It seems to definitely have a sparkle to it.
Thanks!!

I was looking into using Honda "cloud silver". It is still sold in a can through online stores.

Seems like that would probably be a good option

This is a good question to track down and document the paint color here. Another user found a worthwhile replacement for OEM strut bars:

I took my champ white spoiler to Dunn Edward . They had a laser and mixed me some champ white paint for my restroom.

I have started researching this and there is not a whole lot of info - both on the functionality of the bar and the color code.
I think I might make a thread about the rear bar or "performance" bars on the ITR in the tech section. There is some interesting data I have gathered over the years, including stuff about the DB8R's.

I recently refinished my trunk brace and lower tie bar (new bolts too). I used Duplicolor silver wheel paint. It’s matches closely.
Of course both bars are discontinued. My lower bar had a small bend in the center and was able to straighten by mounting upside down and slowly jacking the car from the bar. This is how many of these lower tie bars get a bend in the first place.
