I would reach out to Expo sponsor, IRUNOEM / Acura Express Parts, and ask for Cris. These have come on/off backorder, so Cris is your best shot. He was able to help myself and others secure sets in the past- but Honda has been raising prices and discontinuing parts daily.

Cris was the first person I reached out to, but unfortunately its discontinued status and he wasn't able to find any laying around.

Yeah, I was looking for this a year ago and gave up. I picked up an entire hatch instead. :clownshoes:

This was discontinued forever ago.

Somewhere lost in oblivion on this site is someone getting the rear window I believe with that piece .

I also have 00 civic hatchback and that piece is bonded to the glass , not available separately when it was .
Good luck!

The rear window most definitely comes with the molding -- but the molding was also sold separately, and IIRC was available at some point last year when I bought the rear 1/4 windows... live and learn.

From what I've found online is that there is a specific procedure for cutting the re-bonding the new molding to the rear hatch glass in the helms. fwiw - i found one new OEM rear glass, but it would never make it shipping wise w/o damage.

I have this piece new in box, but it’s nfs. My parts assistant told me it was the last one from Acura stock. This was 2020.The only way I would replace this molding is by removing the glass. It will never seat right against the glass if you try to cut out the old one and stuff a new one in.

Yeah only way this would be getting replaced is when all the glass comes out for a repaint, etc..

I'm assuming a re-seller bought a bunch of these up, so just have to wait and see now I guess..

That might be the case. Similar things happened with a bunch of other parts.
I wanted ITRCA to buy up the remaining stock and make them available to actual ITR owners who needed them without overcharging. Unfortunately, that opportunity hasn't worked out. Maybe it will for the rest of the stuff.
