Front
- 4G Prelude VTEC rotor
- 25T Prelude Front bracket or 23T ITR Front brakcket (23T requires shims to clear rotor, 25T does not)
- ITR 98-spec, Prelude VTEC, Legend, NSX, etc. calipers.
Rear
- 93 Accord rotor rear
- 98-spec rear calipers and brackets
Original 96-spec ITR bracket, 10cm spacing between bolts (hub)
Same 96-spec ITR bracket, 11 cm spacing for caliper bolts
Different bracket I have, supposed to be from an Accord V6. Uses same rear caliper as USDM ITR/98-spec, not sure if bracket is same.
Bolt spacing (hub) for said bracket, roughly 85mm
Original 96-spec rear caliper 13S stamp
Larger 14s rear caliper, USDM ITR, V6 Accord, Prelude, etc.
Both calipers have the same bolt spacing.
I need to find a caliper bracket that will allow me to use the larger calipers and rotors with the proper 10 cm spacing for the hub instead of 8.5 cm.
......
Front 96-spec upgrades (just for reference here)
4G Prelude VTEC rotor, NSX calipers, 25T brackets instead of 23T. No washers needed, but might have some clearance issues with some wheels (3 mm spacer might be required).
Clears....
Ok, thanks to many people here and itrca ...highroller54 was 100% right, as well as Willard for donating the Accord V6 calipers for test fitment and Joe/Doespike for the measurements off of his 98 ITR...
96-spec ITR rear brake upgrade to 98-spec/USDM rear brake specs:
- 98 ITR rear caliper/bracket
- 93 Accord rear rotor
It will all bolt up from there, no machining or spacing needed.
Rear calipers, boxed, with part numbers.
~10mm bolt spacing for hub
All bolts up and clears perfectly. e-brake cable fits, brake line fits (although it's somewhat tight, stainless lines could solve that)
All fastened up, looks good
96-spec ITR wheels clear without any issues

Re: JDM 96-spec Front and Rear Brake Upgrade to 98-spec/USDM
I first tested this brake setup during an SCCA event in early 2010. The NSX calipers came from my old GS-R and had been on that car since 2005.
The setup has been excellent.

Re: JDM 96-spec Front and Rear Brake Upgrade to 98-spec/USDM
Thank you for this thread. I have priced out the following options for people to reference:
1. OEM 96-spec setup from AMAYAMA:
~~$450 before shipping from Japan
Does not include rear rotors (discontinued) but includes everything in photo below. 2. Dixcel 96 spec rotors from Japan, not including the $150 shipping charge, calipers, or pads. $400+ for just rotors.
3. Conversion as specified in this thread from Rockauto. Some of the parts are still available new from Honda but it is extremely expensive ($250/each caliper). Shipping to PA is $35 for all of this, so let's just call it $500. Doesn't include pads.
