Anyone looking for a 2001 B18C5 long block swap??

Post by AndyD » Wed Jan 25, 2023 5:06 pm

Jusy putting out a feeler for now.

I might be selling off some of the new and used ITR parts I've collected over the past 2-3 years.

I bought all these parts in hopes to rebuild a stripped ITR chassis. With the way pricrs are now, thst doesnt seem like a likely option now. A non-ITR popped up that I would like to buy.

So the first major item I collected is a non-stolen B18C5 engine with the VIN attached. I also have the CarFax for it.

It is in fantastic shape. Very clean.

I actually have an ITR transmission as well. It does not have a VIN tag on it though. Could be a JDM transmission. I dont know. Seller included a JDM ECU, as well.

The main things I know that are missing are the engine wiring harness, and a few parts for the transmission like slave cylinder line, throw our bearing lever rubber cover, and the Trans front bracket.

If i sell it, I would really prefer this go to a legit ITR enthusiast, and ideally, go back into a 2001 ITR chassis. If I can help it, I will not be selling it to someone looking to use it for any other non-ITR chassis. I'm committed to doing all I can to help restore USDM ITRs as close to the way they came from the factory. Too many have been hacked up.

To give you an idea of whay other parts I have, I have almost every ITR specific part except for the lower subframe brace, cup holders, ash tray, USDM floormats, USDM ECU, engine wire harness, and front lip. Might be missing one or two more parts.

Post up if you're interested in anything so I can get an idea of who is interested in what.

Again, not positive I will sell just yet. Still negotiating on the other car.

Hmm… judging by this list, I read it as you may have front seats? And that c5 is tempting, for sure
