Re: 2001 GS-R: Engine rebuild, other refreshments
Made progress on the S2 manifold. I watched a few good videos of people installing the regular S2 manifold. Mine is different, but similar enough.
It's weird how the IACV attaches, on a bracket. Also figured out how to install the water pipe, and block off pieces.
Installed AEM fuel filter. I know this isn't really necessary, but I think it's kind of fun, nostalgia of the '90s. I think I may use the AEM fuel rail, both look good in black.
Deciding on which fuel injectors to use. I have some new/flow tested RC 310cc. But after a quick online search, I'm pretty sure there are better quality options.

Some fuel injector options I found:
https://fuelinjectorclinic.com/products ... 8774114374 (Thinking 365cc should be good enough?)
https://gramsperformance.com/fuel-injec ... -0500.html (550 cc is their smallest afaik, but might be a quality option)

Minor suggestion here on that IACV. You can get OEM style spring band clamps instead of worm gear on Amazon for dirt cheap. I've seen so many worm gear clamps eat through the rubber over time that I'm not a fan of them.
Example here, but there are literally hundreds to choose from if you search "spring band clamp"

And it's a good reminder, I think I also have some new Honda OEM clamps.

Love that manifold, definitely a good option. I'd also suggest looking into bigger injectors if you're contemplating injectors anyway. nothing like leaving some room to grow w/ e85.

Ok good point. Not sure if I'll do e85, but at least will have a tune for race gas around 100 octane. What size injectors would you recommend?

Re: 2001 GS-R: Engine rebuild, other refreshments
Depends on your power goals really. 550cc-750cc should do the trick if it makes mid 200whp
