Yes, I have only put about 200 miles on the car. I spent most of last year working on it, replacing the clutch, the catalytic converter, fixing all the oil drips and coolant drips, replacing the original broken radio with another OEM radio, replacing missing fasteners, and so forth. I found all kinds of missing bits and pieces as I worked on it. I replaced every non-standard part I could find, and sourced new OEM parts where possible for the missing stuff. I have gone through the car from top to bottom with the goal of returning it as close to stock as possible.

And then... my wife and I moved to a new home, and in the process I lost my shop. So, I'm down to one bay in my garage for my "guy" space. Sad trombone sound! I reluctantly decided to sell this car to make space for my other projects.

Whoever buys this car will get a nice daily driver that should provide reliable and trouble-free operation for a number of years.

Very well priced. You should have no problem selling it provided all vins match and clean title. If I didn't already have a couple R's I'd be all over this. Checkered Trunk mat and checkered floor mats alone sell for a premium. However i believe those are 97 to 98 specific.

Would love to have a PY. Checkered mats are 97 to 00 I believe.

This won't last long with the maintenance and spares. Good luck

Has the Driver side fender been replaced? I dont see a vin tag and the bolts dont look correct.

Also regarding the mats, the only year USDM Type R's didnt come standard with checkered mats was 01.

You have a sharp eye. Yes, the fender on the car now is not original. But I have the original VIN-matched fender that has a dent in it. I'm not sure of the story there -- I bought the car from Cycil on this forum, and maybe he can chime in with an explanation. The CARFAX shows a single accident repair, and I assume the fender is part of that story.

A buyer of this car can decide: do I want a daily driver, or do I want to complete a restoration? The restoration will require straightening the original fender and reinstalling it -- and then probably painting the whole car. That seems cost-prohibitive for someone who just wants a daily driver. But at this price, you can buy now and decide later.

As others have pointed out, the extra mats, wheels, and keyless system are worth a lot. The new clutch and catalytic converter represent peace of mind and money you won't need to spend compared to buying some other used ITR. And replacing all those leaky coolant hoses on the back side of the engine is priceless! 8-) Finally, a well-intentioned person had tried fix an oil leak by applying large amounts of silicone sealer to the oil pan -- and then they left off four bolts on the block stiffener when they put it back together. Those issues were corrected prior to installing the Honda Habit gasket system. So, this car has received meticulous care, and somebody is going to get a good car for a fair deal.

Thank you for clarifying and being upfront. It appears you have spent some time fixing alot of issues that you inherited upon purchase.
