Red wrapped R on bat
Re: Red wrapped R on bat
Forgive me if I am wrong. Is that bucknasty? Doesn't look like the bucknasty I know. Bucknasty is nominated for getting his best friends girl pregnant then tricking him into raising the mother -----

Wow! Sold for $13,750!!
I thought it would be in the 9-10k range. She is def going to be enjoyed! I wonder if new owner will keep the wrap or remove it?

Thank you for chiming in.bucknasty wrote: ↑Mon Jul 16, 2018 2:09 pm Honestly, it looks exactly the same as when I got it way back when. I'm not sure what the stuff sprayed underneath is as this happened after my time, but if it's preventing it from spreading, then so be it.
The original owner I purchased it from daily drove it in Milwaukee, both of the rear quarters had bubbling at the wheel arch as he left that stupid weatherstripping on, which trapped in the elements. He wasn't an enthusiast or anything of the sort, just some oblivious dad that drove it through the crap year round.
I had full intentions of dropping the suspension, coating what could be and replacing the rest but got some pushback at home about doing another ITR restoration.
What I do remember was this was a damn fine driving car, it was by far my favorite of the three I had and the motor rebuild was rock solid and should be great going forward.
I wish he would have at least swapped out the valve cover before posting, that's a bad look.
Incredible, I had forgotten about this photo. That weekend was a blast. I still remember Bucky Nasty walking through the Greenville Mall holding that print, driving home with it propped up in the driver's seat, and posting it up around the house.
I guess that iPhone crash was worth it.

Bahahaha. I felt like such an idiot carrying that thing out of the mall. Felt even dumber carrying it to work to sell it to a dad whose daughter was a big fan.coolhandluke wrote: ↑Thu Jul 19, 2018 9:34 pmThank you for chiming in.bucknasty wrote: ↑Mon Jul 16, 2018 2:09 pm Honestly, it looks exactly the same as when I got it way back when.
