I attended the auction today in person and also had the opportunity to speak with Brian, the original owner. It was an exciting event to witness and see the Type R finally have its moment to shine. Hearing the reaction of the older crowd left most baffled, but then again who really understands these cars aside from us enthusiasts?!
I took many photos and looked over the car in great detail. It sounds like it’s going to a good home where it will be preserved in its current state, in a museum. Best of luck to the new owner and thanks again to Brian. It was great chatting with you!

I loved the punk rock concert holler at the end when the car is sold. You can hear it on both the live stream and the velocity tv program which was skipping quite a few cars. I was getting nervous they would skip the Integra. Glad they didn't. My step dad and mom saw the auction and were pretty shocked on that price.
