I live in Seattle so I just drove up. I'm waiting to get the paperwork from Honda of Canada and Honda of America. On my way back home I asked customs what I need and they confirmed that I need letters from both corporations and then to fill out two forms. I spoke to another person who imported their R from Canada and he said it's a piece of cake once papers are in hand.

Yeah it was fishy. Said something about a death in the family.

IG goldenerahonda contacted the seller and screenshots of the ad. The price went up suddenly after getting flooded with emails and people offering to drive all night and hand over $3k. Carfax apparently showed odometer roll back. Mould in the interior.

Clueless seller or bidding war strategy?

There was a PY itr with jdm front that sold for 6k in less than 24h. I contacted the guy and was gonna send all the cash, sight unseen. However, I was beat to the punch.

I wonder who got it. It had front end damage (mild) and was side swiped (mild). came with some goodies as well.
