There is alright. It makes it look different in some way. I dunno how to explain it, but parked beside a CW one it looks bigger or something? I'll say this though the original factory Honda VSM paint job on the JDM R's is not the best quality when compared to the CW or Black or Yellow(though the red fades badly with time). It's thinner in both the base coat and lacquer. A chap I know has one of those gizmos that measures paint thickness and he confirmed it on mine when compared to a CW example. Yours with a proper paint job is going to look fantastic. 8-)

VSM wasn't a popular colour choice for Japanese buyers at the time. At least in the 2 door R, oddly enough in the 4 door DB8 R it was the second most popular after CW. Maybe the four door being more a "family man" car they went for the more subtle silver?

HAHA Yessir, I've always wanted a set of endless calipers. One day I suppose.

I’m having flashbacks to when my car was getting painted. Next should be primer and finally paint, hopefully soon. Love the color on the valve cover and eventually the calipers!

Thanks man! My painter is saying he should have it done by end of October so hoping he keeps his word.

So finally got around to rebuilding/refreshing my Endless Calipers. It took a lot more hours to do the process than I had imagined but I'm happy with the end result. First I unassembled them and got the Pistons out (which was actually a little tricky), then cleaned them up with some degreaser and a brush, cleaned up the hardware with degreaser and a brush, painted hardware with high temp silver paint, had Calipers blasted to get old anodizing off, had em re anodized, and after 3 failed attempts at receiving the wrong seals, on the fourth try Endless USA got it right haha.
Some pics of the process.....

The calipers look excellent!

I will bug you on the paint later. I’m looking for someone to replace my core support and paint a front bumper.
