BUYING: Black ITR/Shell

Post by Blkbelt81 » Tue Feb 13, 2018 1:35 am

Greetings,

As the listing states, I'm wanting to buy a Black ITR.. whether it's a complete car or a Shell down to the frame. My plan is to do a rebuild/full restore with the goal of being very close to full OEM. Being this wide open on the car I would accept, my offering price is wide as well - scaling from $4,000 to $10,000 - from a Shell all the way up to a complete car, all depending on what is still intact/condition.

A few musts for me are:
- A Clean title, including no Theft recovery, no Salvage
- Car must have began it's life OEM black
- No major body damage including structural and frame damage
- No major rust

I have all funds available for immediate purchase and shipping. I am a serious enthusiast and a serious buyer.

Please find my contact info below.

Thanks for reading,
Eric S.

I think he found a shell. A previous transaction I did with the OP I recall him stating he was in the process of a restore.

I have a rough 2001 I need to sell. JH4DC23131S001236

The body has a dent in about every panel.

I just recently bumped someone so the right front is bad. No headlight parts remain. The front cover is torn at the headlight.
I am driving the car. As far as the insurance company is concerned the car is totaled. I have been paying for collision insurance. What a waste of money that was.

The car just passed emissions - the motor has 170,000 miles the whole car 220,000 - the motor blew up.

I am the original owner. If I was younger I would take on the project of getting it looking good. Hoping there is some young person out there who is good with bodywork and wants a good project car. Obviously it would not be a bad idea to rebuild the motor but one would not need to immediately.

Engine runs very well. Transmission is noisy. Original clutch and it works fine. That should tell you something!

I know there are plenty of other details one would want to know but before I went to that trouble thought I would see if there is any interest.

Car is in the Atlanta, Georgia area

I have a beat up RECARO seat in the car which I would not want to retain. I have the original driver's seat.

I would be glad to take some pictures and give additional information if there is any interest.
