I’ve owned the car since Sept 2015 and have enjoyed every minute of it. I’d like to get back into an S2000 so she has to go. I bought it from Aaron who used to go by ‘JOHNWAYNE’ on the forums. When i purchased the car it had hood pins (I eventually replaced the metal pins with a set of aero catch pins since there wasn’t really a way of getting it back to holeless) and some scuffs on the front bumper and tabs were broken. These were eventually replaced with OEM Honda items from Expo sponsor AcuraExpressParts. The lip, hood front bumper and fenders were all professionally resprayed in CW. Most of the car has original Vin tags other than those items and items that are noted (also I have no idea where the rear bumper Vin tag is but the rear bumper could use a respray as it has some touch up and a crack on it.) The rubber piece (pic below) around the front window is coming apart but no leaks from it or the rear hatch. I’m not sure what happened to the original engine but it has B18c5 sourced from an 01 Type-R. Currently the miles are somewhere in the 80,000’s. Engine runs superb and has never had any issues. The trans was refreshed with syncrotech parts and an Mfactory 4.9 final drive. IIRC the 5th gear is GSR or LS, I can’t remember. The chassis has seen some miles but no rust that I see and is accident free. The previous owner had a battery explode on him thus causing the firewall to have some primer area (pic below). I personally have tracked the car three times and weekend cruising. The interior is in good condition, the car did not come with its badge, but a blank OEM badge sits in its place. There is a crack in the middle of the rear seat plastic (pic below). Other than that maintained it with oil changes every 3-5000 miles. Car has a fresh clutch in it. The OEM exhaust was welded by some hack at one point and thus came apart after the OEM cat so an after market replacement was sourced, OEM piping and OEM muffler goes with it (pic below) does have a small small exhaust leak at the donut gasket on the header. Car is perfect for someone who wants to be able to go have a blast at a track day on Saturday and a cars and coffee on Sunday.
