The buyer has never bid or commented prior to the winning bid far above the previous bid.
I hope I am wrong but they seem like a flake.

The buyer is in fact legit, a young dentist from the west coast. He was in surgery the day of the sale. Said he stepped out, placed his best bid (with 33 seconds to go), and went back to surgery before the auction ended. Wondered through the rest of the operation if he'd won!
He flew out to CT. drove the car, and we completed the sale yesterday. He is very happy with the sale. He did place a fair bit of value on the extra parts.

glad to hear your sale finalized....did the new owner end up taking the quarter panels? I've found another set I can get since my last message on BAT.
