100% agree with this. Put it aside for the sake of nostalgia.

I like the B18C block sleeved to 84mm idea. I had my B18C5 built to 84mm and kept the stock stroke, 12.5:1 c/r and Skunk2 Pro2 cams and it was great. Torque in the high 160 ft/lbs range and 229whp. Reliable and fun, tracked without issues, daily driven in the summer months without issues. High c/r and available octane options near you should be considered as well as appropriate cam choice. IIRC the LS crank will stroke it out a bit to give you some more power.
