WTB or Trade: Good condition USDM seats

Post by James0933 » Wed Apr 06, 2022 5:12 pm

Hello all,

I'm looking for a set of good condition USDM front seats.

I'm willing to take those with a spot of wear or damage that I could possibly repair, but ultimately I'd like a good, no issue, set.

I do have some parts to trade if that would entice you: trans, wheels, bars, oem r parts, intakes, cams, exhausts, odds and ends.

Please pm!

There are a set of front seats for sale on Facebook. $1200 in New Jersey.

Sounds like a reasonable price if they are in good condition.

I saw those. They're not in the best shape.

what would be considered fair market value here for a mint condition set? if people are asking 1200 for junk then i would imagine some mint seats would be worth a pretty penny in this market.

I would say 1500 to 2000 for a good condition to mint set. I'm basing that on what I've seen sets actually sell for.

Ive seen a couple of mint, mint advertised for around there and understandably so as black/red JDM recaros start on that price range.

Poor to okay condition sets sell for between 350 and on. There are plenty of sellers that "ask" for more but the sold price is what's telling of the market.

Yeah I totally understand! The reason I was asking is because I have a mint condition set that I will def consider selling if I can get 2k in my pocket out of them. I have been considering unloading quite a few interior parts and restoration parts here recently. I just cannot justify using all these BNIB OEM parts and hard to find parts that I have on the shell that I originally intended on using them on being that the shell has 4 brands on title and not a single matching VIN besides the dash. 7 years ago when I first acquired the car it was a different story. Parts were much easier to find so it wasn't a big deal to use the parts on the botched shell. Then wifey got pregnant and the car went on the back burner until now pretty much and I feel different about the car and parts. The car will be best served as a track/weekend warrior rather than a badass k24 monster restoration to use all these nice parts on I collected over the years. My intentions 7 years ago was to restore the car back to it's original finish interior and exterior but be all business in the bay. Now I'm only worried about the business in the bay lol. I have my 01 PY for all the rest!! Where are you located?

I would love to have to them!

It would go towards the restoration of my clean title CW 98.

I'm in the Chicago area, but I've traveled across the country (on multiple separate occasions) for the right parts and to be able to safely bring them home.

Pm me and I'll do the same!
